if at least the rock was installed on a nice crown it would be ok, but the suggested para helms look good.

I expected to see a helmet on them that looked like in those pictures, and though the gem on the forehead was incredibly stupid. The only class where I have the head gear hidden so definitely...

the North Africa argument blows. If you are using that, it would be Zulu themed, for the short broad headed Sunburst spear. The only Bronze-age North African warriors were Phoenicians(Carthage) and Egyptians, who wore similar armor, with helmets. If you want to use that sub-Saharan argument, however, why aren't they wearing loincloths? The Zulu even fought the British in those.

The armor is Mediterranean in design, very much stylized after the Spartan/Corinthian style mentioned before. The helm makes much more sense.

As to the Angel argument....the only portrayal I've seen of Angels is naked or in flowing robes. A few of the archangel Michael were similar to the paragon......but with a HELM.

And Anet? Big, poofie, tied-back dreadlocks aren't a helm.

/signed. Paragons would definitely look a lot better with some sort of Corinthian helm.

I already have Paragon FoW armor and yes I got the crest too... even though i hate it. I would spend the 150k to rebuy the centurion helmet. Perhaps don't give all armors new helms (as it would be time consuming to model them and frankly they would all end up looking extremely similar... BUT PLEASE MAKE IT FOR FOW ARMOR AT THE VERY LEAST ANET!

Also while we are on it... How do 6-8 floating glowing stones giving me 80 base armor.... also how the hell are the crests that give Paragons 80 armor only giving Elementalists 60 armor... I can tank as well as a warrior or a dervish... give me a helmet.

Oh, these helmets are very nice for the assassins. With these helmets, they can attack and sweep the floor at the same time. It's amazing!

Zulu? Sub-Saharan Argument? Are you on drugs? What does this have to do with North Africa? Carthaginians had medit. weaponry/designs anyway, not to forget famous greek commanders.

No, Paragons resemble more skirmishers than Hoplites/Phalangites, that's why a Corinthian Helmet seems retarded while a pilos seems more appropriate (while it outclassed the Corinthian helmet by miles anyway - thus marking its decline).

The thing is, we are talking about looks here. Bringing up the "how-it-would-work-in-real-life" point is entirely moot, as I'm pretty confident sticking three stones to my forehead in real life won't increase my fiery aptitude in any way. The Paragons just seem cut out to wearing a Corinthian helmet, as most people in this thread seem to agree with.

Yes, I get your point entirely. They would, in real life, be much better suited to wearing helmets similar to Roman Velites, but then the rest of your argument doesn't stand either, because javelin throwers were never as heavily armoured as our Paragons in-game are.

To keep in line with the rest of their armoured appearance, a Corinthian-style helmet would be awesome.

It'd make our Paragons look that much more awesome, and seeing as hardly anyone plays them, they need a small boost in their popularity.

Red gore engines galore YES! Oh.. I think it's fair to say we'd all really appreciate it if they took it seriously instead of putting in a couple ugly elite templar helm reskins.
